Oxfam's customers have been able to order their trees in their own time and place via the secure website. The fact that the number of online sales has increased from one third to one half shows that more and more Australian consumers see eCommerce as a fast and convenient way of purchasing.

As a tip for all organizations selling online, the project had an increase in donations associated with the tree sales once the donation section was re-positioned. Due to a technical difficulty, we originally had to put donations on a separate page to the trees. However, once we were able to put them on the same page, our online donations increased ten-fold.

The website was created and managed by The Plant using WebAlive's website technology.
